The Yoga Intersection runs regular Introductory programs, workshops, intensives and retreats throughout the year.

A practice of Yogasana is a practical method to maintain a healthy relationship between the mind, the body and the breath.   

One accesses the skills required to balance the body and steady the mind.    A sense of relief from emotional and social strains allows a progression towards a self-induced state of harmony.  

INTRODUCTORY LEVEL TERM 1: Want a fresh new start? If you are new to The Yoga Intersection or New to Iyengar yoga, this is the level to start. This level focuses on the foundation of asana (Hatha yoga) which gets you on your way to developing a regular yoga practice. A practice of yoga improves many common imbalances such as insomnia and sleep problems, stresses- physical and mental, strengthens emotional and mental health. This program focuses on the principal foundation of Asana within the Iyengar yoga methods which underpins a practice of yoga as a process of understanding oneself.

INVERSION-SALAMBA SARVANGASANA (plus a variety of strap techniques)
This workshop will focus on shoulder balance and variations (plus additional strap variations) The use of all aids to assist with the regular practice of Salamba Sarvangasana, Halasana and Viparita Karani. The rewards of the sadaka's efforts draws the sadaka closer to the self

Like to join a yoga class but a little uncertain due to current limitations. This class has a therapeutic focus aimed at an individuals ability. Grasp this opportunity to reform using yoga practices.
